Very unique flavor- good with just about everything you put mustard on.
How can a person that doesn’t like mustard, love this one!It’s not over powered by a vinegar taste. Instead it has a smoky almost earthy tone.I discovered Fallot Walnut Mustard years ago while traveling. It has become the only mustard for me.
The first time I bought this, I grabbed it on impulse from a fine foods grocer to give to my husband who had been going through a mustard devouring phase. I was not big on mustard and would only add it lightly to certain sandwiches etc. THIS mustard has changed me. I don't know what is so enticing about the walnutty flavor but it's got me hooked. I finished the first jar then got one on amazon to keep for myself.

I thought I could only get my beloved mustard if I went back to Paris. Thankfully I was wrong. This Dijon mustard is deep and earthy, and goes exceptionally well with beef. At least that's my favorite combo. And no, it doesn't have chunks of walnut in it. After all, it's French. They've worked out the best recipe.
This is wonderful stuff. Great for making sauce with. Really a cool addition to many kinds of meals!!

I use this product almost every day. It is a mild mustard, but the flavor adds so much to a dish, or salad dressing. Perfect for a Salmon marinade. A tsp. in egg salad takes it to a new level. I highly recommend purchasing two jars, so that you have a steady supply.
We were first introduced to this brand in France while on vacation. We were able to find it here for a reasonable price but now the cost has tripled so we will try and find it locally.
If you’re on the fence about getting this, just get it. Tastes absolutely fabulous.
I tried this product at the Mustard Museum in Wisconsin and became instantly smitten.It’s got a bit of kick and spice just how I like with my brown mustards, and the walnut flavoring really comes through. I use it regularly on sandwiches.
I have blown through several bottles of this, and have also given as gifts. The walnut flavor tastes like it’s fresh, not weird or chemicaly like other flavored things. Good on its own in a sandwich or in a dressing. My favorite mustard ever.
Unfortunately, of the 2 jars I ordered one leaked with a broken seal and dented lid. The website said it can’t be returned. I use thismustard in a salad dressing, I absolutely love it but will try and find it in a store somewhere as I think it unfair tobe stuck with an open jar.
I use this in my salad dressing. I use a table spoon of flavored olive oil and tablespoon flavored vinegar with a 1/2 teaspoon of the walnut Dijon mustard. I typically use this in the fruitier dressings, like Pomegranate Quince vinegar with Lime flavored olive oil - or Blackberry vinegar with Basil olive oil - YUM!!!
My sister bright this mustard home from Paris for her husband and was obsessed, so I found it here and bought a bottle. This has the most amazing floral note to it and I found myself craving it. I dip crackers in it, it's so good. The jar barely lasted a week because I put it on everything! Makes a fantastic balsamic vinaigrette, too. Highly recommend.
This walnut mustard is fantastic! Great for cooking with anything you love. I’m only giving this review regarding the packaging. I ordered two bottles that arrived today however one of the jars had the lid knocked open and some of the mustard leaked out on jar and bubble rack packaging. The box it was shipped in was very narrow and unable to protect the hard properly resulting in denting and damage to the lid of the jar so it leaked. Glad the glass did not break but I sure if the heat it might have been stored in while open so had to throw out. Otherwise would have been 5 star review👍🏼
You know how you think you like some particular food, and then one day you eat some preparation of that food that takes it to a level so much higher than any you've had before that it's like it's something completely different (and better)? THAT is what this mustard will do for you. It gives an entirely new meaning to the word (and food) mustard. I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone who enjoys a good Dijon, brown, spicy, or other non-plain-old-yellow mustard. Does, of course, contain walnuts, so beware if you have a nut allergy.
